Excellent period property with lots of original features, fabulous food and exceptionally friendly staff eager to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Perfect location for me as I was travelling for work and it had parking but also only a 10 min walk to the city centre.
Rooms were lovely ( this is the second time staying).
Food is really nice and being gluten free can mean limited options at times but there were nice options for dinner desserts and breakfast ! I ate in the bar bith times however there is the Coterie Brasserie as well.
Good value for money and would recommend.
Within the rooms it would be good to have better lighting above the mirror for applying makeup as the mirror in the bathroom isn't great too bright.
Also no where to hang hand towel beside the sink
Small touches , but would make a difference.

Generous sized ornate room. Breakfast, bar and dinner at restaurant exceptional service and food. Parking onsite a bonus and able to leave car whilst shopping in city centre by foot.
No lift, so if have a lot of luggage can be difficult. No assistance on hand. When we arrived difficult to check in as no dedicated reception. Also, there was a hen party so very crowded, loud, busy area to try and find staff.

Breakfast was very good.
the room.. though it was good at first sight.. We opened the bathroom door and the stench was horrible. It did seem to dissapate after a few hours but we had to keep the door shut so that we could sleep. No Lift for people travelling with luggage, it was a little problematic getting up the stairs.
