Hotel was okay. The hallways were hot and had a lot of white spots on the walls that I assume was plaster covering holes or missing paint?? The room fridge was full of frozen ice from a previous guest.
Staff as friendly though.

Our stay for the most part was great. The staff was awesome the room was very clean. Loved the pool and the gym. Our only complaint was there wasn't curtains that closed fully to keep the sun out in the morning. We needed more rest but was unable due to the light coming in

Service and staff was excellent! The location and breakfast was perfect! Lot of items to choose for breakfast and everything yummy! The room was ok and here is why. The bed and bathroom were clean (no complaints), but the carpet was completely dirty like they haven’t vacuum it for months. Really nasty! And the room had a bad smell.

Within walking distance of some shops and restaurants. The hotel breakfast was good! Waffles, scrambled eggs, yogurt, etc. Comfortable hotel; would stay again. We only spent 1 night, but it looks like there’s a lot to do in Helen.

Our stay was really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful with advice about the town and what to do there. The pool was nicely heated. That’s not always the case at most hotels. The breakfast was great with a lot of choices, eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, waffles, bagels, toast, yogurt, cheese sticks, breakfast bars, muffins, cereals, milk, juices, coffee, tea, and apples. They even had complimentary cookies at the front desk. My little granddaughter thought that was great. Our room and bathroom was clean, and we felt safe. It was lovely architecture along with the rest of Helen.

We were just on an overnight trip and we walked in to reserve a room but even with a military they were higher than what hotels app had the prices for. So instead of getting just a basic room I got a room with a fireplace to just have the coziness of it and it did not work. Just a small flicker. We had the clerk come up and take a look and she said she was sorry and didn’t know what was wrong. I also told her the shower didn’t work and nothing was done. At checkout I spoke to a manager and she said we booked 3 rd party so she couldn’t help us. I paid a good bit more for a fireplace room and I didn’t get it. So I guess I won’t use hotels app anymore cause there is no one to help with issues when you are at the hotel.

Our room smelled clean and spacious. Breakfast was awesome! The only downfall was the bed was hard, I personally prefer a softer bed. The jetted tub has been used quite a bit and has signs of wear and tear in the bottom. Other than that it was a great stay. Walking distance to the shops in Helen.

The hotel and location were great! Nearby to restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious and comfortable had a small refrigerator and microwave for your convenience. Bed was comfortable as well.

I loved this hotel, it was clean, comfortable, updated, and quiet. The shower was amazing and that is what is one this I care about after a long day of travel!

Hotel was awesome! Very clean and the staff was super friendly!! Especially the sweet lady that helped with the breakfast. The only drawback was the pool was not being heated properly and your website shows a hot tub and there was not one the lady at the front desk said it was taken out. So pictures need to be updated.

No Coffee at breakfast. Breakfast had no hot food two days out of three. Membership has no value or amenities at this location. Tub and shower requires major repair and maintenance. Bed was old and not up to Country Inn & Suites standards. Hallways required vacuuming and basic upkeep. I have stayed at many Country Inns over the past 20 years and this one was the worst.

The front desk staff were amazing. We received a warm welcome, and they kindly offered suggestions for good places to dine. When they found out it was my birthday, ran and grabbed me some muffins. Room was clean and comfy. No street noise to speak of. Lovely stay, and will definitely stay here again. Cannot overstate how nice the ladies at the front were.

Premises were clean and accessible. However when we attempted to take a shower or used the jet tub we had paid extra for, there was no hot water in the building. We waited a few hours, until we decided to contact Expedia customer service and decided to leave and get another hotel. Front desk staff was nice and helpful, however, manager who was contacted via phone the phone did not have a good attitude.

The hotel was just mediocre, not a bad place to stay for the night if you need somewhere and can’t find anywhere else. Everything is a little outdated, bathrooms looked like they might have been redone somewhat recently. Overall it was clean enough, bed was comfortable in my opinion and breakfast was not terrible. Staff was all very nice and helpful. I do not think I would stay here again though.

Hotel is in need of some remodeling. Carpet in our room was in need of a good cleaning. Shower looked clean at first, but it still had hair in the drain from the previous guest. Breakfast is just ok, but it is typical hotel breakfast quality. Front desk is very helpful and accommodating. Cleaning staff and kitchen staff are super nice.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was great for a short walk to the Helen village downtown. The Inn had many guests, tet was quiet, and we felt safe staying there. Cleanliness in the room could have been better.

It was more than disappointing that I arrived for my check in at 3:00pm and my room was not available. At 5:45pm I was given keys to room 309 and told my room was ready. When I got to my room the housekeeping staff was still working on the room (see pictures). We had special plans for the evening (dinner reservations at 6:00, 30 minutes away) The delay for our room caused us to loose our table. When I asked for a late check-out I was told they could not extend that option for me. This delay was completly unacceptable.

I traveled for Christmas with my family, I loved the hotel and its staff. I loved.

It’s seldom you get a chain affiliated hotel that feels like family, but this Comfort Inn felt that way. From the moment you were greeted at the desk, it was clear that the staff was most interested in your comfort and less interested in anything else. Every question or request was followed through and always with a “is there anything else…?” Breakfast was the usual eggs, meat, bread, gravy and waffles, but tasty and plentiful. Rooms were comfortable and roomy, but show their age a bit with little maintenance nits (loose plugs, minor wall damage, drippy faucet). Nothing major and the fireplace was amazing (it was cold outside!). There are restaurants and a park within easy walking distance. Downtown was a bit further and not an easy hike unless you are used to walking. Overall, I would absolutely choose to stay here again.

This hotel is in some serious need of upgrades. The location is great and staff are awesome but the facilities are in serious disrepair. Our bathroom had several burnt lightbulbs and the vanity light was completely broken off of the wall and hanging by the wire. The toilet which was outfitted with dual flush mode, only flushed with the low flow mode… don’t go in there trying to unload dinner. It will take several flushes to get the bowl cleared. We went in early winter and had to turn the AC on even though it was in the 30s-40s outside. Breakfast was good but the dining hall was very small.

I like that its close to town. I didn't like the hot tub being gone and they didn't have gravy for breakfast like they said.
