Friendly staff but dirty rooms. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. Someone had used the restroom without flushing and there was hair everywhere.

It was nice but the bathroom toilet was slow to flush. That’s about the only issue I had.

I have stayed at this hotel before and liked it very much, but this time was not the best experience.
The room was not ready - maintenance caulking in the bathroom - despite the hotel not being very full and us arriving well after check-in time.
There were stains on the sofa, the doors to the cabinets were crooked, the toilet was running, and there was water on the carpet and staining in spots.
There was just a sense that the room wasn't guest ready.
I provided feedback the next day and hopefully they will make improvements.
I would also add that they probably would have moved us but we were too tired after a very long day of travel and had already brought all of our stuff into the room. I didn't discover the wet carpet until getting into bed and just put towels over the spots.
The staff is nice overall and I wouldn't say don't stay here, but perhaps ask for a room that has been upgraded.

The location was very nice. The hotel from outside looked amazing. Once you entered however, the feeling changes... The staff is not very friendly, and have attitudes as customers seen as inconveniences. My room, for 5 days, was very lightly cleaned as it seems they spent 5-10 minutes cleaning. The shade on one of the windows did not work, so I had to sleep with one of the windows open as bright light from outside shined in.

My entire experience was great. The room was nice and clean, the showers were super hot (my favorite part) and the staff was professional and helpful. 10/10 highly recommend!

We have stay at this property 5-6 times over the last several years and this last stay was just not at the same level as our previous stays. The oddest thing was the box of tissues in bathroom had tissues/box soaked in something other than water. We reported it to front desk and while they gave us new box there was barely an apology. Overall the property is seeing a drop in service, cleanliness, and maintenance.

It was a beautiful property. We were only there 1 night, came in very late and left in the morning but staff was very nice, the hotel was clean and our room was clean and restful. We would stay there again.

Disappointed that breakfast was “extra”. First Hilton I remember that didn’t include breakfast … it was $9 but very mediocre all of the “hot” Orms were very cold . Great facility, price was just ok … $150 \- bc so would think the sub par breakfast would be included ??

Hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfy. Had nice shampoo and such for convenience. The only thing we wished for was a bigger pool! Overall great stay.

Housekeeping was extremely poor. Original room was poorly cleaned and when you ask for room additionally cleaning they wanted to know everything you wanted. I forgot to ask for the full trash can to be emptied and the didn't empty it.

Very nice hotel. Never stayed at a Hilton Garden before. We were travelling across the country and I knew the area around the hotel as good - as I was right. Will stay here again if the opportunity arises. A bit off the main road, but has a restaurant open until 9pm. Rooms are really nice.

This property exceeded my expectations! It’s in a beautiful, green, lush area of Birmingham and the conditions of the Hotel were excellent. The staff were all very very nice and they have a restaurant/bar onsite as well as a great snack shop. Loved this property and would definitely book again if I’m ever in Birmingham! The hotel is in a quiet area but only 5-10 minutes from “The Summit”, which is where all the restaurants and shops are. Very convenient and safe!

With the rate charge, I find it difficult to accept that breakfast is not included. This will definitely affect whether or not I will stay there or at any Hilton Garden Inn property that does charge for a modest breakfast at best.

I had obviously prepaid for this over night hotel stay with Hotels.com. when we checked in hotel.com had not sent in correct payment for our stay. It took the person checking us in over 30 minuutrs to get things straightened out with Hotels.com before they would check us in. It was not hotels fault. Apparently it was hotels.com's fault. It was very late and we were exhausted. I hope my credit card was not charged twice.

The room was ok, I was a little surprised with it being a Hilton Garden. Room had been semi cleaned but soap and shampoo wasn't placed in the room.

I arrived early actually two hours early, unfortunately front desk said that the room wasn't ready to come back at 3pm. So I got back at 3pm she then told me check back at 4om at regular check in time. So I sat in the lobby until 5pm. The front desk said they was short staffed and bo rooms was available. This was very disappointing because I drove 7 hours for a memorial service that I missed because the room wasn't available as it should have been. I want a refund !!

Very clean surrounding area/neighborhood, clean and friendly hotel. We have stayed here multiple times. Staff is very nice, parking is easy. Bathroom is a little small, but it worked fine for 2 people. The only negative I can think of is that the hot water takes a few minutes to heat up. But not a big deal.

For the price of room should have free breakfast or discount. Mattresses very uncomfortable. I had a big dip in matresses.

It is a nice clean hotel. There were a couple of things in the room that needed some attention but nothing that affected me specifically. The staff was very friendly. I would stay there again.

The TV didn't work in the first room we were assigned to. My husband had driven 4 hrs to get here anxious to watch football. After packing up and moving one door down, we were later locked out of our room after going out for pizza. The door key slipped down into the slot, out of reach!!
