Such a great location. Breakfast was excellent.

Front desk was extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. Hotel was clean including the pool area. Rooms were comfortable with all the basics you’d need.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Room was good, would definitely stay again. Hotel was in a very convenient location. Walked around Portland and enjoyed all it had to offer!

Sheets were not big enough to completely cover the bed.
I left 2 phone charger cords in the room and when I went back to see if they had them, they couldn’t tell me if they had them and told me to call. I called and left a message but nobody returned my call. I went back a second time and they told me they didn’t have them. I was annoyed in the first place that my cords “disappeared” but even more annoyed that they gave me the runaround when I tried to locate them.

Great location to shops, restaurants and sights. Easy valet parking, nice rooms and decent pool. If you don’t want the free breakfast, The Friendly Toast is just downstairs. Breakfast can be improved even if it was free. Overall, a great stay. No issues whatsoever.

I didn't like that it was only valet parking but otherwise it was clean, friendly, and the breakfast was really good. Dad and I enjoyed our stay.

The bathroom was not clean, I would not use the shower. I had to fix the fitted sheet on the bed, it wasn't on one corner,
the refrigerator's freezer was full of ice buildup

Our go to place to stay in Portland. Centrally located, clean, and good service. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. Valet parking with no charge for in and out service.
Shower is good and strong. The only negative for this stay was the bathroom sink, the drain time was very slow- often leading to a full sink of water. Still is a 5 star hotel. We will be back.

It was a long wait at the front desk checking in. The woman at the front desk was very efficient and extremely pleasant. Just a long wait as many people were checking in at once. The line was long

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn. The rooms were very clean and spacious for a family of four. The pool was a hit with our two young children. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast, it had all our favorites. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was perfect, very close to many delicious restaurants and shopping. Overall, I highly recommend for families traveling with children. We’re looking forward to our next trip to Portland and stay at the Hampton Inn.

Within walking distance of many different places to eat. The hotel was nice. Booking through Expedia was not a good experience. We thought we were getting a top floor suite, ocean view. When we checked it, the front desk said we were on the second floor and as soon as I stated that we booked an ocean view, she gave us a ocean view, but not a king bed suite. Disappointed with Expedia.

It was a lovely hotel, the only problem we had was they didn’t notify us that the valet parking was $35 and you had to use it, if you wanted to park on the property

The Valet was convenient, there is a late open Bar & Restaurant which was superb, the room was spacious and all the Hotel was well taken care of. The staff was the best part! friendly and approachable.

Very disappointing! We usually choose Hampton inn but Portland Hampton Inn was not at all what we expected. Homeless people passed out in lobby, shower not turn on stuck, breakfast nothing great, valet left my car on for 20 min unattended I only knew got an alert on my phone we come to Portland often will not choose Hampton inn again

I love this hotel, have stayed here a dozen times probably. Unfortunately this time around was overrun with a kids hockey team or something that seemed to spend the entirety of their weekend running amok in the hallway. 20 preteen kids in the hallway, banging on our door saying they’re the FBI, running up and down the hall throwing footballs, blocking my door when I’m trying to get in my room etc. parents nowhere to be found and didn’t seem to care about anyone else this effected. I blame the parents mostly, amazing that parents were actually present, but I dunno guys give these kids what for. We all know if these were college kids/adults causing half this much mayhem they would’ve gotten booted in an instant. I don’t wanna pay $200/night to be terrorized by a league of unsupervised brats that get a pass because staff are scared to confront kids. Likely will choose a different hotel in the future

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. I appreciated the nightlight in the bathroom, so you didn’t have to turn on the bright lights in the depths of night.

Great hotel in the heart of old Portland. Breakfast included (wich saved us a lot $$$). Kids enjoyed the pool. Roms are clean and spacious. Easy parking ($30 US) a day. We stay at this hôtel every year and we like it.

We loved the location. Pictures did not match up to what rooms looked like. Was not a clean as I prefer. Heating system is very loud going on and off. We could hear the guest above us walking and talking. TV’s in the gym had no service.
Check in attendant was lovely as was the parking valet.

Only issue is they make you valet and it’s 35$ a day , no self park beware

Was a great stay and will be booking again in the future! Room was clean, breakfast was great and services was amazing. Did not realize that the pool was open so late so we will plan for that better next time!

We come every year for polar express at the railroad - perfect spot. Our kids love the pool, the rooms are clean, and it’s walking distance to restaurants & the railroad!

My husband and I had a very nice time at the hotel for our anniversary. The room was very clean, the only thing was their was only decaf coffee in the room. We booked when the price was right. We would definitely stay again when the price is right.
