Pine cone Motel

Great little motel, cozy cottage vibes. I got room service breakfast included with my stay, who could ask for more?

On arriving at the property was a little disappointed because the overall image wasn’t as rustic as I expected, no external photos on the website. However, we were given a lovely welcome and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. My main requirement on a road trip is a quiet, clean comfortable room and shower and this scored top marks on all these points. I would have preferred to have a kettle in the room but the coffee and tea provided at breakfast was great. A nice choice of items including fresh fruit was available but nowhere inside to sit could be a problem if it was cold or wet weather. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the lovely wooded area.

I absolutely adored my stay at the Pinecone Motel! It is such a rustic, quaint little motel with so much charm. The owners are absolutely lovely and truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. The breakfast was plentiful for a continental-style breakfast, with lots of choices, and they even make your eggs exactly how you like them — such a nice touch! What really stood out to us was the personal service and how genuinely friendly and welcoming the owners were. You just don’t get that kind of hospitality everywhere anymore. If you’re looking for a fancy, modern hotel, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you appreciate a clean, cozy, old-fashioned motel with character, wonderful owners and that home-away-from-home feeling, I would highly recommend the Pinecone Motel. I absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again!
