It was a great little room for the night, clean and well kept. Breakfast was made to order and delicious! The only problem was the icemaker and drink machines were both out of order

Loved how close the room was and the staff we did interact with were friendly. The room however. The bed was definitely broken on one side and I tied to find someone to help but by the time I realized it was very late. The room smelled alittle like cigarettes

The property is conveniently located to the Smoky Mountain. But breakfast is served to you by the window outside and it’s cold in the mornings to eat breakfast outside. The only alternative is to eat in your room by there is no table to eat from for a two person room. Coffee is cold cos it sits outside in the cold.
There is nothing good to eat in terms of Food dinner.

Upon arrival 11:30pm check in was super fast and easy. The room is small but we just needed a place to sleep. Everything was clean enough for us. TV could be upgraded but we were there to sight see and weekend getaway not watch tv. Carpet could be updated. Had an old home smell but nothing we couldn’t deal with. Bed was comfortable for us. Not too soft not too hard. Slept great! We didn’t get to have breakfast as we were told it was only from 8-9 am and we weren’t ready in time. Overall I’d stay again. Price was decent and property was quiet. Each room has its own entrance.

This is not a fancy hotel. Rather it’s reminiscent of the motor lodges that were a part of family vacations in the 60’s and 70’s. Beds are comfortable and room is clean. All rooms are on the ground level.
The owners are a personable and treat you like family.
There are a number of negative reviews about the breakfast. I suspect this is because most people assume “free breakfast” means open cafeteria/grazing style. The breakfast offered by Rolling Hills is homemade on site. We had the most delicious (and veggie full) omelet with a healthy helping of fruit and a danish on the side. Coffee was delicious and hot.
I have stayed at luxury hotels across the country and there are times when the fluffy robes, sauna showers, and bluetooth TVs are my preference. However, when I visit the mountains, my goal is to be out and about exploring the culture and people - and with that in mind, Rolling Hills Lodge does not disappoint.

I was first drawn to the nice breakfast offered. The problem was I didn’t get any. You must order the breakfast between 8-9am, a short window compare to other similar hotels.
The room is very close to the road. The nice and lights from the street kept me up all night.
The bathroom was clean and looks to be recently renovated.

We were disappointed because the pictures looked nice. The room was small and dark. The bathroom had no heat and no light above the sink. There was no blanket on the bed, just the top sheet and the bedspread. The free breakfast had to be eaten outside as you cannot go into the lobby. You check in through a window.

They say breakfast but all they have is a burrito and they don't put that out till 8 am. Bed frame made lot of noise every time you turn over. Hot water is extremely hot unsafe for children to use

The hotel was older and a bit dated, but the bathroom was updated and the room was very clean and comfortable. The people at the front desk were very nice.

The location was great. Very close to everything we were planning to do.

The room was clean. The tv was only analog with poor reception and only a few channels. The breakfast was excellent. Lighting in the room was dim and not enough to read by. The staff was very good. If we had called the property direct we could have saved $20 per night. The deadbolt did not work, only a push button lock.

It appears that the ownertried to meet Expedia's requirements by shortcutting everything...no dining area but a porch with a few upholstered chairs, the cheapest kind of towels,

Very quaint and what you expect in regards to the other hotels in the area. Clean, but very dated.
Need much better lighting in bathrooms and needs better television channels, only has a few analog channels

Lodge is dated but comfortable. Quiet area at night so slept well. Lodge could use a “deep” clean such as a/c units and glass covering furniture. Didn’t do the breakfast but it smelled very good when we were leaving. Don’t let your first impression gauge the stay.

It was an interesting experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The parking was a little off due to people taking up 2 spaces, but it was an enjoyable experience.

The people were very friendly. Towels very thin, refrigerator didn’t work. We had toget assistance for the light on the bed side table; finally got it to reach to a plug but it barely made ir… that was ok because it worked.

Owners were very nice and made a great breakfast. Very accommodating of our late arrival. Quaint breakfast area with a view and convenient parking. Room was clean with a large newer bathroom. Despite the room having been recently painted, the room was musty (damp feeling) and the furniture was very outdated including the mattress. Refrigerator did not work. I would stay here again but the wife said she would prefer not to. They were nice and it was clean so it checked my boxes.

The beds and pillows are the worst things I have ever slept on in my life. I didnt get much sleep and woke up with my body aching all over. Great location to stay at if you're going to the casino. If they update their bedding I would definitely stay here again. Area where ice machine is located was nasty.

This is an older motel but well cared for. We enjoyed the hummingbird feeders and other bird feeders that were around the property. There is an outside room with chairs and tables to enjoy the views and watch the birds. Coffee available and a delicious home-made breakfast was a real treat. The only thing I wish would be improved is lighting in the rooms...the bathroom needs lighting above the mirrors as it is very dim in the room. Overall we had a good experience and the motel was conveniently located to local tourist attractions.

The Rolling Hills Lodge is a lovely place to stay. They are friendly and served a delicious breakfast. Their location is in walking distance to the Cherokee Museum and other amenities.

The bed was not great, the shower didn't work right. On the other hand, the location was good, and the staff was wonderful, check-in and check-out went great.
