We enjoyed our stay at Brera, Stuttgart. The king bed deluxe apartment provided a comfortable bed, good wifi, lots of hot water. It was large enough for a 4 day stay for 2 people with room to store luggage, hang clothes and spread out a little. There was no couch or dining table. The desk provided a place to eat a meal. Our apartment faced Wernerstrasse which carried some traffic so there was a bit of traffic noise if the apartment doors were open. Closed doors at night reduced the traffic noise to minimal. Based on other reviews, the other side of the building may be noisier with trains and the Sixt parking lot. There is a Penny supermarket 5 minutes walk away which has the basics including fresh baked items suitable for breakfast. The area is a bit of an eating wasteland unless you are looking for pizza or doner kebabs. Public transport options are very close by – tram (u-bahn), train and bus. It is a 15 minute ride to the centre of Stuttgart on the u-bahn. We had a car so availability of free street parking was on our list of “nice to haves” however, street parking was more limited than we expected. There are 15 or so free, all day parking spots on one side of Wernerstrasse and the section of Vera-Vollmer-Strasse immediately outside the apartment entry. We managed to snare one of these each time we returned to the accommodation but may have been forced to use Brera’s expensive underground parking if no spaces were available. Bilal was very helpful in answering questions and providing advice. We booked Brera, Meckenbeuren (near Lake Constance) for 4 days based on our good experience of Brera in Stuttgart.

the location was industrial but nice, a few minutes by foot is a turkish neighborhood where we had lovely meals and an amazing massage (Thai Touch). Otherwise we mostly spent the day in the main part of Stuttgart for shopping etc. The room was spacious and very clean, the bathroom was big but not luxurious, and there were also kitchen ammenities as well as a communal laundry room etc.
The bed was comfy but a little too small for two grown up people.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and genuinely enjoyed it: cozy atmosphere, great location near the city centre, well-equipped kitchen, smooth check-in—the whole package. Unfortunately, this time my stay turned into something closer to a survival challenge than a city break.
When I entered the room, it was about 14°C inside. After turning both thermostats (room and bathroom) to their maximum settings, the temperature heroically crawled up to maybe 18°C… by the next night. On the first night, I slept fully dressed, wrapped in two duvets like a human burrito.
I contacted support to ask if they had any electric heaters. They didn’t, but they cheerfully advised me to “turn the thermostat up all the way” and wished me to “stay warm.” A lovely sentiment—shame it didn’t come with actual warmth. I’m not sure they fully grasp how cold some of their rooms get.
To make things even more confusing, I met another guest in the elevator and asked about his room—he said the temperature was perfect. So apparently, staying here is a bit of a lottery: sometimes you get “cozy,” sometimes you get “Arctic Expedition.”
Next time I’m in Stuttgart, I’ll book a different apartment hotel in Bad Cannstatt. It may cost a bit more, but at least it won’t leave me wondering whether hypothermia is included in the room rate.
