Lovely b&b, the room I had a lovely clean smell. Friendly owners, and perfectly cooked breakfast !! would def recommend and stay again. If no parking outside, there are some spaces further up.

one minute, tiny thing - couldn't work out check in / check out and breakfast times as differ on here and on messages and in room info ... but only by half hr either way...

The staff was very friendly and kind. The typical English breakfast provided was also good. The location was very close to the lakeshore and town centre, which was great for us to wander around.
Everything was great. I would recommend my friends or family to stay there too.

Everything the guest house was lovely clean comfortable...the breakfast was delicious..Julie was the best cook ..Russ was very nice and made us feel very welcome! Would definitely return sometime.

The property is in a fabulous location with a short walk into Bowness. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including tea & coffee making facilities and parking. A really nice breakfast can be had at a very reasonable price too!
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Excellent hosts. Excellent breakfasts. Excellent location. We stayed in Willow Cottage (next door but still a part of Melbourne Guest House) Stayed in Room 2 . Lovely room and very comfortable bed. Would definitely return.

The location was good for walking down to the lake, Near to lots of cafes and restaurants and pubs. The room was exceptionally clean and cosy, with tea coffees in room. Bed was comfortable and guest house decorated beautifully. The full breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day’s sightseeing. Good value for money too. Owners were very accommodating and friendly.

What can i say the owners where brilliant very friendly. The room was lovely and so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing delicious and the location was fab. We will be back soon.
