This is a very good but basic "Motel" style facility. This was a bit of a surprise but not a problem for me.
Room was clean, comfortable and quite.
Check in was quick and easy.
Grab and go breakfast was lacking and unfortunately they don't heat up the sandwiches. Opened the bag a block away to discover an ice cold egg and bacon english muffin. No one told me it wasn't heated when I was given it. Decided it wasn't worth trying to eat.
But despite the small breakfast snafu and a motel like building I would stay here again . It was a good stay and a very good value.

Always a great place to stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and well taken care of. I will stay again…and again…and again.

This is an older hotel that has been renovated very well. We have stayed here a number of times over the years and expect to come back. It's very clean and quiet. We just like staying here.

The room was clean which is the most important but it is very dated. Cheap hotel so you get what you pay for. Check In was easy and staff friendly.

Very clean and convenient interiors. Friendly staff and quick check in. Things that happen like clock work from check in to check out are an important part of staying out of town.

Booked our room on the qt as we decided to attend a function in Saskatchewan at the last minute. Lloydminster was the halfway point.
Easy to find. Friendly staff. Given bottled water and cookie on check in. They have a restaurant attached which is convenient.

Enjoyed a night there while passing through. Basically slept and showered. Would be nice to have continental breakfast but still good quality room for the price.

For an older hotel that was remodelled it was in very good condition and rooms were very comfortable the only downfall was the restaurant was closed and it should be reported whether or not the restaurant would be opened as there’s only one person running it and they closed on weekends

Good , only problem restaurant in hotel was closed. Clised every sunday and stat holidays. Made eating a little awkward.

Super comfy bed and really clean room. Highly recommend. I didn't have my dog with me but if I did it would be the perfect place to stay!

We came to Lloydminster for the dog show. The dog friendly rooms opened onto a grass courtyard that had poop bags and trash cans
The grab and go breakfast has lots of choices for a cold breakfast

We always choose to stay here on our way through Lloydminster. Royal Hotel is always clean, we like that the rooms have King size beds, good pricing, and easy outside entrance to the rooms. Too bad they don't have a reliable restaurant, but they make do by offering packed lunches.

My stay was great with the Royal Hotel. Breakfast was great, beds were comfy, the front desk even offered my dogs treats for breakfast, and there are pet waste bags in the rooms. Definitely staying again if i pass back through.

This was the best bed I have slept on in a hotel in a long time.

There were two police visits to property in one nights stay wondering about that and that from room to parking exit means there is no check of staff of who is coming and going to rooms

It was nice to be able to bring our dog & know that she would not be disturbed when we were out. The staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable. The TV remote was not the best but we did not have a lot of time for TV anyway. Overall good value for the price.

Nice hotel, decent rooms. Only downfall is the access from the main road way. Having to U-turn or find the alley access is a little inconvenient but I would stay again if I'm in that city.

The hotel is surprisingly well maintained for the age, the tub in my room had a greasy film and the bottom floor hallway is seriously just waiting for some evil twins to appear- signs everywhere not to smoke but the building reeks of pot... I'm glad its just me travelling and not my family as well

This hotel had friendly staff, was clean, and easy to acces. The only thing I would note is that the breakfast included is a grab-and-go bag breakfast, not a true breakfast.
