This is a hidden gem . Check in was quick and easy. Front desk person was very courteous Comfy bed, dark curtain for a good night sleep.

Its a fine hotel for the price. Good breakfast. . They have to do something about the smell in the hallways though. Its terrible.

Property is beautiful but very old. Bathrooms are very nice . Bedroom area old and dated. Creepy painting on the wall next to the bed. The remote timer for the TV didn’t work. The price was much higher on your site than at the location. The location has a huge discount for traveling employees at good Samaritan Hospital. I will be staying there again this week for two nights, out of convenience while working this assignment however, I will be looking around for a nice hotel near by.

Friendly staff, negotiable, nice decor, good breakfast.

I had stayed there before and really liked it. I was somewhat disappointed this time, mainly in the service. The first full day we didn’t want full maid service, rather just a change in towels and the desk clerk seemed to have a hard time fulfilling that request, but after much discussion did make it happen. The second day we got full service but the housekeeper didn’t replace all the towels. Basically, though, it was comfortable.

I would stay here again. Sweet little hotel with very friendly staff.

The property is very out dated. One of the two sinks was clogged not flowing at all. The ice machine was out of order. There's no even ice bucket in the room. Old switches in the room, out of order, non-functional switches etc. The worst part is they charge $100 per dog per night. It's insane.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are friendly and welcoming! I usually stay somewhere nearby when I’m in the neighborhood but this time, I had my 89 year old mother-in-law in tow so I thought I’d get something less sterile. I found the Bristol online and thought it looked lovely. I was actually underwhelmed when I pulled up as the exterior is unassuming (but secure, well lit with plenty of parking). Once I walked in the lobby though, I was dazzled!! Every inch of the place was beautifully decorated! I wanted an early check in as my MIL was getting tired. The manager was very helpful and said he would get us a room right away, which he did! The room was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. I wasn’t able to stream content on their tv though as I am used to doing at other hotels but that wasn’t a big deal. I was able to use a hdmi cable and my laptop so she could watch her shows. Overall, I was above satisfied with our stay at the Bristol.

We thoroughly enjoyed our spacious room. It was spotless and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was great with a variety of options. The breakfast personnel were helpful and attentive to keeping everything fresh.

This is a classy place. Louis XIV would have felt right at home with the statues, period paintings and a plethora of crystal chandeliers and light fixtures. My room was well-appointed. It would have been nice to have a clock that I could see in the dark. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast was good continental-style. I'd be happy to return here when I am in the area.

"The staff had a great attitude, and the hotel had a lot of character." It is a great location if you have a rental car minutes from any High Way. Nice place to stay if you come to San Jose.

Great location to where we needed to be visiting and meeting for work. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Love this hotel. I stayed here while my mom was hospitalized. The staff is nice, the rooms are beautiful.

Wonderful! Feels so fun and luxurious. Wonderful staff—gave me a hot pot for our room so I could make some hot cocoa. Will stay again!

Hotel was beautiful, very clean and quiet the staff and Raul the hotel manager were amazing very quick response if we needes anything. Coming back to San Jose definitely this will be our place to stay. Bristol Hotel is totally a Hidden Jewel.
