This hotel should rightfully be called a motel, and resort should be nowhere in the title. This hotel has cold cement floors everywhere except in the rooms, which are tiled. Our first room had a King size bed and a pull-out couch (we didn't need the couch) and was a decent size. When we arrived, there was a large puddle of water in the middle of the room, with no indication of where the water came from. I should have just wiped up the water and be done with it, but I called the front desk (had to use my cell phone as there are no phones in the rooms). Manager came up and determined the leak came from the air conditioner and "upgraded" us to another room that had a view of the pool - big deal. It also had a smaller bed and couch, and the room was smaller. Walls are thin, and you hear everything your neighbors are watching or talking about. Oh, and there was construction right outside our door at TWO THIRTY IN THE MORNING. Not the hotel's fault, but it didn't help our perception of our stay. Their policy is NOT to clean your room unless you request it. The bed had just a sheet and a very thin blanket, so thankfully the heater worked just fine, as Florida can be cold in January.

It was good but was noisy in between. some construction going around always.

Arrived when dark. When pulling up noticed the hotel looked run down it was surrounded by building work. When we proceeded to check in there was Note on reception door to say taken an unpaid break and will return in half hour. We had to stand outside with our luggage until staff returned. There was no security gate to motel so anyone could walk through the grounds upto the rooms . On entering the rooms they were run down . There was an internal door boarded up with celotex and a party going on in the room next door and people trying the door handle. Having small children this was completely unacceptable so checked straight out to be informed property will not offer a refund and after speaking to hotel.com they will not provide a refund for the room either . Really poor service from Both the hotel and hotels.com will Not look to book through these again.

This hotel is amazing. The front desk staff member was so helpful, so very kind, and very knowledgeable about the area. This is probably one of the nicest and best places I’ve stayed in a long time. I will definitely be coming back.

Updated rooms are great! Felt comfortable staying there. Only a couple minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. They had beach chairs in the room for guests to use to high was very nice! Will definitely stay there again!

Besides the construction noise next door, the room I reserved said "kitchenette". In my world, that would have included a burner and fry pan, but all they had was a microwave and fridge. We bought food that needed to be "cooked", that had to be thrown away.

Good location fair rate

Hidden gem in the heart of Clearwater. Don’t get stuck paying high rise hotel fees nearby. This “mom and pop” style hotel is smaller like a inn but offers many unexpected amenities. Stocked cabinets with plates, silverware and even dish soap. Beach fowls and even two beach chairs! They focus on the little things that will make your stay easier on your wallets and more memorable. 5 mins slow walk to the beach. Easy access to food, shopping and a warm pool to relax to by at night! 10/10

This place was great for the money! It's an older establishment but is very well maintained and clean. Everything worked. Wonderful parking too! Rooms are easily accessible from several advantage points.

What a wonderful place! Block away from ocean with partial ocean view. All rooms have chairs outside overlooking the pool to enjoy the Florida weather. Room was very large, clean and comfortable. Must admit there’s construction of a new building next door, but for me the wonderfulness of the place far outweighed the weekday noise. Cannot wait to go back!

Best lil spot we have had on the beach!

Got an email 2 days before our planned vacation that the pool was going to be closed our whole entire stay. We have a kid that loves the water i asked if we could transfer hotels , the General Manager was amazing got us moved to one of their other hotels super fast! Hotel is very clean and staff goes above and beyond!

Nice clean room, friendly staff, close walking distance to the beach. Very family oriented, there was a basket with a family game in the room, there was also a chair lift by the pool for someone with special needs to be able to enjoy the pool. I thought this was very thoughtful. The building was under construction that I didn’t know about but understandable for improvement. Parking was a bit tight for late night arrival. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and close to beach

Front desk help was very freindly, maintenance was too. The room while showing some age was well appointed and clean, pool was great for the kids. When leaving the parking under the back rooms had water running out of the plastered ceiling.

This property may not be large and luxurious however the rooms were very clean and had lots of little extra touches.

Perfect hotel for what we needed. We are a family of five and needed at least three beds in a clean room. It was literally a 2-minute walk to a public beach and there were restaurants everywhere.

Location is great in the middle of everything we did!

The bed was the absolute worst thing I have ever slept on. Needs to be updated. Mold in ceiling tiles. Flight was changed. Needed to leave a day early. They refused to work with me or give me any kind of refund.
