Hi, The location is great, Can be a little noisy at night but to be expected as in the centre of town so if you want a peaceful nights sleep don't stay here lol
Cleanliness fine, shower could be more powerful but suffice
Overall a nice stay for the price .
Mattress was lumpy could do with replacing
Door has gap in so lights from hallway shone through which was quite annoying
Confusion on early check not quite clear, Then charged £2 per bag to leave our luggage which was extremely disappointing after not being able to check in early.

Picked hotel because it was next to the railway station. Check-in staff efficient and friendly. Room unexpectedly large, comfortable bed. Wifi worked. Room was quiet, despite being in city centre. Satisfactory continental breakfast.
No view from the window, but no complaints as that probably helped the room be quiet - streetside might have been noisy.

The location is hard to beat, and the hotel offers great value for money.
The only thing I didn't like was that although there is a lift, there are still a few steps to go up, which can be a bit inconvenient when carrying large luggage.

Very convenient location near station & town centre
Plumbing needs fixing - no cold water in sink nor shower & boiling hot water.
More attention needed to getting the basics right.
