This bungalow was perfect for two friends. The separate living quarters was a bonus. The property is well secured and the outdoor space is nice. It’s a great location with walking to restaurants, Whole Foods and the beach.

Unique property in quiet neighborhood about 6 blocks off Venice Beach. Main house has small Queen bedroom en-suite while outside structure has large master suite in converted garage. Great for 2 couples to have space and coffee outside in back courtyard. Time for outside cushions to be washed, but that’s minor. Good communication with owners. Location walking distance to Whole Foods, neighborhood restaurants- must visit Felix for special night out! Thanks for opening your home to us. Had fun long weekend getaway.

My friends and I had an amazing stay here last weekend. House was perfectly located by the beach, restaurants and bars - safe location as well! The side/backyard were one of our favorite amenities - huge open space and great for hanging out day or night with nice weather. 10/10 would stay here again!

This house is in a great location. Walking to restaurants and cafes on Rose and easy to get to beach, airport etc. The house is stocked with beach items (chairs and towels) which was a plus. Street parking was easy but if we could not find any the house has parking.

Pictures on the listing are not fully accurate because as soon as you walk in you can see the main house is not well maintained. There were stains on the couch and stained sheets in the bedroom with the double bed. The kitchen is not well stocked and the linen closet was disheveled. There was a dirty cutlery holder and kitchen faucet handle that falls off every time you turn it on. The master bedroom is located in a converted garage. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
Communication with the property manager was good. The neighbourhood was great but the property is not lovingly cared for. My overall rating would be 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Great location to visit Venice beach and just a short walk to a fabulous bakery and supermarket. A couple of blocks did feel a little unsafe but we ventured out on foot and had everything we needed close by. Plenty of parking too!
House itself had a lovely feel, very comfortable and communication with Jill was great. Thanks for having us!

This is such a wonderful property. It was just as advertised. Being walking distance to the beach was the major sell for us as we have teenagers that were excited and couldn’t wait to walk down to the beach amongst the crowds! Close to supermarkets restaurants, gas stations etc. everything you need is nearby. We loved our stay and Jill was very responsive.

We had a lovely mother daughter trip at this location. Jill and her husband were very responsive to our needs. The pictures make the house look a little bigger than expected but it was enough room for the 6 of us. The AC in the main house was strong but struggles to get into the bedroom but the fan was a great touch to cool off the room. Jill had beach towels to us within an hour after arriving. The house was clean and our daughters loved the master bedroom. Kitchen was stocked and accommodating.

We loved our stay at this little home tucked away in the neighborhood of Venice. A short walk away from several great restaurants along Rose Avenue and about a 15 minute walk from the beach. Enjoy the solitude of having your own place away from the bustle of the beach while yet still being able to enjoy all the Venice has to offer with a short drive or bike ride.

We really enjoyed our vacation. Myself(single mom) and my 12 yr old son and his friend. The two separate houses was perfect for us! Had issues with the WiFi and ultimately couldn’t get it to work (they learned to entertain themselves). Safe neighborhood, slept with windows and doors open. Close to great restaurants and 15ish min walk to beach. I’d totally go back and stay there again!

We loved our stay. Location is great. 15 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Lots of room for the 4 of us. Good internet. Owner was easy to contact and very helpful.

Great location in the heart of Venice and two blocks from Rose Ave, fantastic restaurants and Golds Gym. Very comfortable with good beds. Everything walkable including to Abbott Kinney. Smack in the middle of one of the hippest neighborhoods in Los Angeles.

Would say 4.5 stars overall. Overall very clean, having shampoo/conditioner/body wash in shower was very nice. We were there when LA was unseasonably cool - so didn’t use much of the outdoor space - having more than 2 chairs in the dining room would have been nice for 6 people. Coffee table in living room was very heavy to move for pull out couch (but worked great for use as table for dining). Plenty of linens/bedding. Thank you!

We stayed with two sets of teenagers so the separate houses were PERFECT! The listing was exactly how it is pictured on the website. There are so many food spots within walking distance and we walked to Starbucks every morning. We walked to Santa Monica pier, Venice beach, and everywhere in between with no issues. The street parking never was an issue and the neighborhood was quiet with no worries. Jill was easy to get ahold of and made sure our trip went exactly as planned! We will definitely stay here again!

Nice house close to Venice beach, Santa Monica, shops and restaurants. It was very convenient and parking on the street was not an issue. We did not use the kitchen except the microwave and dishwasher. Small but fine and functional. Nice big fridge with water and ice dispenser. The bedroom in the converted garage was very spacious although no central heat. But the space heaters worked well. The two separate buildings for the two bedrooms is nice if you want privacy but if you have small kids, it is not the ideal situation.
I wish there were more chairs in the dining room so we could all sit at the same time but there was plenty of seating and a table outside.
The owner was very responsive to any question or issue we had and there were good instructions in the house.

The location was absolutely perfect! Walkable to everything, and the host (Jill) was so accommodating! We were there during lots of rain, and Jill was super helpful and ordered us umbrellas for the stay, which meant we still were able to be out and about because we were covered! She also assisted in suggesting good delivery options. You can't go wrong!

Great experience renting from Jill. The property is as advertised - very comfortable and quiet spot in the middle of the big city. A pretty walk to Abbot Kinney and the Venice Boardwalk as well as Santa Monica Pier and everything in between. Jill was great to deal with and prompt in responding to any questions. I was traveling with my wife and two adult sons and the setup was perfect - room to be together and space for privacy. We would stay again in a heartbeat - just wish we had more time!

The property was in a perfect spot around the Venice area. The neighborhood is a bit secluded, so there is not a lot of noise or random people walking around. Our host was super communicative, would recommend.

Great location, loved our local coffee shop—Groundwork —organic coffee and great pastries and avocado toast, contemporary *fresh mexican food at Chulita (dont miss the cauliflower queso. and the best hibiscus and spicy cucumber margaritas, Fun staff too!) & the wonderful ice cream at Jeni’s, All walking distance. As is the beach.
Great little quiet place to lay your head and decompress. (Love the master bedroom inseparate bungalow) Loved it all!
