A local place, which was great. We loved the homemade food, particular the breakfast was great. Stewed fruit and homemade jams, great bread and eggs. Sadly we didn't have time to explore the area but there is a lovely beer garden as well and good to see the care taken about local food and beer.
Some of the furnishings need updating, towels were worn but very clean but this feels like a work in progress and hard to do all at once, so looking forward to seeing how it develops.

The location was beautiful. Staff were lovely and the food was delicious. Plentiful hot water.
Room decor and common areas were a little ‘tired’ although very clean.

Intriguing building, excellent location, great staff, quirky, library, downstairs drinking/eating areas welcoming and plenty of them. Excellent outdoor areas inc riverside paddock with benches and play area. Dinner great, breakfast disaster.
Upstairs from bottom step onward. Needs a good clean and a lot of money spending and much maintenance, actually a complete gutting and renovation. Very disappointing.
