My father is getting older and it’s not lost upon me there’s no guarantee I will have him for future holidays. Since I live in northern Cali, he is in Southern Cali, I went on a mission to find a central location for me, my kids, my dad and any other LA family members to all come together and commune for Christmas I found this house and it worked perfectly! Everyone was extremely comfortable and the kitchen/dining area was spacious for cooking, being seated together to enjoy meals and have great conversations. The house was well equipped, but if I had one complaint it would be given the price, the house was a bit dated and wished it was better maintained. That was the only drawback. For that reason, I probably would not revisit it again but it definitely served the purpose well for the holiday experience I hoped for.

We had an amazing stay at this home. Plenty of space for larger groups. The pool and hot tub were great, lots of outdoor space to enjoy the nice weather! The hosts were on top of everything, communicated quickly and were great to work with. Would highly recommend staying here!

Terrific weekend with family. The bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. Great seating inside and out for conversation and playing games. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to rent it again sometime.

The house was a great size and pool was fun, ac worked well. The kitchen was solid. A lot of natural light which was enjoyable! The dining area was accommodating for a large group. The basketball area was super fun! The house really needs some maintenence and the outside (pool/pool toys) could use a deep clean. There was a big black widow in the pool toys which was very concerning. We had one bed that didn't fit the frame, another bed that collapsed because the slats were not fitted correctly. The door on the fridge was broken, the screen door was broken, the waterfall function on the pool didn't work. Owner/management was very responsive and good to work with. Overall we really enjoyed the property it just needs some love.

We loved visiting LA and having a wonderful place to stay. Everything we could have wanted!

Gorgeous house in the hills! We had a wonderful stay, plenty of room for everyone, beautiful pool and jacuzzi. We had some issues getting into house, as we had the wrong code written down, and the owners responded quickly and resolved the problem, as well as turned on the jacuzzi for us! Beautiful home, beautiful experience!

A very lovely home with an open floor plan and lots of natural light, the rental was overall very comfortable for my family and I when we stayed there over New Years. It’s in a lovely location with lots of character homes. It has a pretty outdoor area and lots of curb appeal. While being an older home, it’s apparent a lot of updates have been made. We did have a few concerns that I brought to the attention of the owner so they could be resolved. There were six of us in our group, and upon arrival we noticed there was only one towel and wash cloth for each of us (it’s always nice to have some extra towels on hand, especially if people decide to go for a swim in the pool). I did contact the owner and she was very responsive, ordering some extra towels and having them delivered to the house. It was raining when we were there, and that area had been experiencing some out of the norm weather. The hot tub cover was broken/half off and rain water was getting into the hot tub, along with some minor debris. It was not turned on, so we were bummed that it was not useable. When I mentioned it to the owner she said she was aware and had a new cover on order, but we felt she could have given us a heads up that it wasn’t currently in use. It wasn’t raining on New Year’s Eve and it would have been enjoyable to use the hot tub. Also, while it’s advertised that it has a basketball “area”, the actual basketball hoop/net and part of the backboard is missing. The outdoor grill had also not been cleaned and she said she would bring it to the attention of her cleaning crew. The door on one of the bedrooms is warped so you have to lift it as opening/closing otherwise it comes in contact with the floor, making loud noises. If someone in that room gets up in the middle of the night, it can wake up people in nearby bedrooms. While three out of four beds were very comfortable, the fourth bed appeared to be just a box spring, and the person in my group who slept in that room said while it wasn’t awful, it wasn’t great either. The toaster needed to be replaced as it only toasted on side of the bread, despite the bagel feature not being turned on. Lastly, there is about a 1-2” gap at the bottom of the front doors. Being rainy/chilly when we were there, it did create a bit of a draft. Despite the concerns, we overall did enjoy our time there. A few improvements will make it even better for future renters!
