The place is clean, the washroom is nice and clean. Next to a river.

Located near the industrial side of zermatt. Can be dusty from the outside but inside is clean and calm.

We liked the spacious family room. There’s a kitchenette at the basement with a microwave and kettle.

The family room is wheelchair accessible and the shower was the same depth as the whole bathroom floor without any water channel / gutter surrounding the shower area. Consequently, the whole bathroom floor and mat was wet during shower. The hotel provides a floor squeegee broom to push water towards the drain, but it takes time for the floor to be totally dry.

The cleaning staff were very friendly and very helpful. I get the whole self check-in / check out, but sometimes you really do just want to ask a question. Luggage store was great and easy to access.

the price - i get Zermatt is a popular destination, but over £300 for a night for a really small room in a poor state of repair isn't my idea of value for money. The curtains were hanging off the rail and didn't close properly. The TV was hanging off the wall and i was too scared to even touch it in case it completely fell off and i was blamed. There's a huge stain on the bathroom floor. Street lighting is limited / next to non-existent, and as we arrived in the dark, it didn't feel the safest area. We had no issues, but didn't fill me with confidence.
