Porto Marina Hotel

I enjoyed the food the most. EVERYTHING was gourmet style. I definitely enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The servers go to your cabin and bring you the orders. Another pro about the property is they allow complimentary kayaking (upon availability). THE VIEWS were amazing. It is literally right next to the cross that sticks out of the reservoir and you can kayak right by it.

I have zero complaints. But if you are not used to walking uphill and taking stairs, be prepared.

The bed was ine of the best we had in our trip. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The whatsapp conversation was always available and helped us with all the needed information, from booking a taxi, reminding us of the ammenities that are included such as booking a kayak, ordering breakfast and lighting the firepit. We ordered dinner from the restaurant which was decent. The kayaks are amazing and theres no hassle to use them, although note you can use them until 6pm. The firepit was amazing, it lits for ~30 minutes, although note the staff has to lit it and it is allowed to start between 6:30-7:30 pm. The jacuzzi was amazing, since it’s cold outside fill it mostly with lukewarm water since it will get to that temperature anyways, then finish with the hot water. The hot water pressure is pretty low so filling it only with that would take ~2 hours.

We ordered different breakfast durring our stay and all the options we took were plain terrible. We haven’t finished any of them. Most of the cabins have their view blocked from trees (we only saw 2 cabins that didn’t have this problem, but they were less remote and just above the restaurant. In one hand the hotel is remote which is great, on the other hand, if you come without a vehicle, you will pay alot to just leave the hotel. Exiting just to the main road which is 4 minutes is 20,000$, then each drive to an attraction or large city is ~50,000$, keep that in mind, since Uber/inDrive doesn’t really work in the area you’re stuck with the Taxi overpricing.

Private Wirlpool, although a bit dirty. Cabin in the woods, suitable for up to 6 persons. Staff very friendly.

Lots of bugs in general and cockroaches all over the kitchen. Run down, needs a loot of maintenance. Pictures most likely are from opening and don't reflect the current state.
