Breakfast was great. The restaurant serves both pub classics and Indian food, the Indian food was great, the pub food OK. There is a decent selection of drinks in the bar.
We didn't request a ground floor room and I do not believe there is a lift to access first floor rooms. The view from our window could have been better.

Facilities in room were good, clean and staff helpful.
Nothing I didn’t like

We had a lovely stay at Sturdys Castle Coaching Inn. The rooms were clean and functional, but the real gem was the Indian menu in the restaurant. The food was gorgeous, and the service was excellent: attentive and prompt throughout. We’d happily return for another meal next time we are near Woodstock!

Nice food
Didnt offer a more suitable room for a women on crutches. 1st floor poor outdoor stairs no protection from rain.

"The evening meal was wonderful. The breakfast was fabulous and so well presented. First class food.
The chicken biryani was truly exceptional - I have never tasted one as good as this. In a pie crust..."
