Decent hostelry with comfortable room and good breakfast. Puzzling shortage of mains specials when we sat down to order @ 630pm for our evening meals. Hard working managers both evening and morning.

Lovely pub, clean and comfy room, friendly staff and great food. Nice size car park too. Well placed to explore Oxford as it's only 15 minutes drive to park and ride.
Only a couple of small comments for housekeeping. Only one sachet of milk was provided per day which meant that one of us had to have our coffee back. Also, only the bin was emptied...the bed was left unmade, which is no problem, but why leave the dirty coffee cups and water glasses and not provide clean ones?
Other than that, we totally recommend this pub and will certainly stay again.
