We just chilled and it was great. Seaham itself has very little to offer but we were very happy with the room. Easy parking round the back. Just make sure you park in the right carpark which has no limits. Just across road from shops

Hairdryer blew up on use, fused ALL power sources so no TV or kettle
Too many stairs to get to my room (no4)

Excellent location close to sea front, shops and bars. We stayed in room 4 which contained everything needed for our short stay. There were facilities to make hot drinks fridge, iron, hairdryer. Cleanliness was generally good.
The bed was awful. The mattress was like a wafer - when you laid on it the springs were popping out at the edges there was just no support in it and it looked very budget type. We are average sized people and my husband was in agony due to pains from sleeping on it. The metal bed frame creaked every time we moved and was bowed at the bottom. This bed let the room down.
