GRAND HOTEL du LAC Hanoi

The staff here is what truly made our stay that much more special. A huge thank you in particular to Kaisa, Roy, David and Eric, who spoke with us every day from the moment we arrived until the end of our stay. Whether they were helping us with our bags or directions, checking in on us or simply stopping to have a conversation, they genuinely made sure that every part of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were incredibly professional, but also so warm and personable, and our interactions with them often left us smiling. They really added something special to our time here. I also want to give a special shoutout to Lisa, who made the check-out process incredibly easy and smooth and gave us such a lovely final impression of the hotel. We made the most of everything the hotel had to offer, from the restaurant and spa to the rooftop bar, and genuinely couldn't fault our experience. The buffet breakfast had a great variety of fresh Western and Vietnamese options, as well as made to order dishes. We also ate dinner here twice because we couldn't stop thinking about the fall off the bone pork ribs and cheesecake (easily THEE best we've ever had!) The spa was wonderfully relaxing, while the rooftop bar was the perfect way to end our nights with beautiful views, great music, live performers and delicious drinks. The bartenders were also incredibly friendly and accommodating, even making off-menu drinks for us. They were so funny and great at making conversations! Our top-floor room was beautiful, clean and extremely comfortable, and housekeeping did an amazing job each day. Overall, it was the combination of the beautiful hotel, excellent facilities and genuinely wonderful staff that made our stay so memorable. We would absolutely stay again!

There was not one thing we didnt like about this hotel. Location is so convenient and the staff truly go out of their way to make your stay the best.

The staff are so thoughtful and friendly, the location is brilliant, and the facilities are great. I felt safe and comfortable and it was nice to have such a lovely room to come back to after a day out exploring.
