It was clean and quiet.
There was a light bulb missing from the bedside lamp. The clock needed a battery, the door was difficult to open and the tap in the shower room needed adjustment.

The staff were excellent, and the breakfast was superb
Decor was mismatched and a little tired in places. That said the quirky layout, due to the age of the property, was part of the charm

The bed was very comfortable and the pub/hotel is located in a small village centre with easy access in/out and plenty of shops around.
I probably shoud've known better booking a pub hotel but the music from the pub was extremely loud in the room and when I asked the owner about what time it would be turned down, he said 'in 45 minutes' and it still kept going way past 11pm. Don't book if you need to get a good night's sleep. May I add the price per night was high.
