Riverside Hotel Nile View

The hotel staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location is great in a very quiet part of the city. A lot of restaurants nearby and views of the Nile river. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was good, the views from the terrace at night are pleasant.

This is simply THE BEST place to stay in Cairo! Amazing view of the river Nile on a relatively quiet neighbourhood. Excellent staff. Friendly and kind. Crimson Grill Bar on the roof top is a great choice to have breakfast or enjoy your dinner and drink something. Superb value for money for what it offers. Definitely a reason to want to come back.

Great and quiet location. Beautiful view of the Nile River from the room. Rooms are CLEAN and beds comfortable. Very nice homey touches like robes, slippers, and loofahs. They provide plenty of water bottles. So accommodating. Staff was soooo nice. We stayed here twice - beginning of trip and end of trip. We couldn’t wait to come back at the end of our trip.

We love the location for how quiet and clean it is. But it’s just a little hassle and takes like 20-30 min Uber to get to the restaurants near downtown or to the markets. But we would much rather have the quiet over staying in downtown so we were ok with this. The distance was the only thing we could possibly complain about but we knew about this when we booked :)

Not much.

Too much noise every night until 2 am from the restaurant. Besides, they charged us more than the booking price as they applied a different exchange rate. Then, after we checked in, we noticed that the room was a standard category, not a deluxe one that we booked. When we reported that, they accepted to apply a discount, and updated the reservation details on booking, but never refunded the difference (90$). The breakfast is mentioned on booking as available, for 12$, but it wasn’t. We had to take breakfast at the restaurant (à la carte).
