Nice, modern room, spacious, big enough for two people. Location is in a small village in the countryside, nice and quiet. Would have certainly been a good place to stay also I I had planned to walk in the woods and hills nearby. The town of Stolberg, a short drive away, has a quite spectacular old town, I really enjoyed sightseeing there. The free on-site parking was almost full, but there was a free space left.

Checkin was slightly more complicated than in most places with keyless doors because a long number code had to be entered on checkin, and the machine with the number pad didn't give any clear feedback on what I was supposed to be doing exactly at any given point. I only got the checkin right on my third try, I think, although I'm normally good with technology. The kitchen was well equipped in terms of machines, but you should bring your own dishes and utensils since there were very few. Information on where the space to store bikes in is located was not provided anywhere. You have to look for it yourself. It's easy to find, but signs or a map would have been useful. Finally, the hotel has a rule saying that no batteries are allowed to be kept in the room, which you must explicitly agree to when you log in to the wifi. It's hardly possible to comply with this rule since more or less all devices that you likely bring along on a trip, like laptops, phones or power banks, have batteries in them.

Jammer dat er geen ontbijt mogelijkheid is. In het dorp is dat ook niet mogelijk. Een ontbijt/restaurant bij het hotel zou het perfect maken.

Erg net appartement. Alles is net verbouwd en nieuw. Makkelijke entree met ingang code. Stolberg op15’min rijden.

Unfortunately the bed mattresses we awful, very soft almost touching the bed when you lie in it. Bed creaked with every movement. The duvet was a winter one, which in August is far too hot. The beds let down our experience in this very nice apartment. You need to change the mattresses / duvets. Such a shame.
