Sehr nettes, auch mit Liebe fürs Detail eingerichtetes Appartement in bester Lage am Place des Quinconces. In die Altstadt sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Das Ausklappsofa ist bequemer als viele Hotelbetten. Einzige Schwäche ist, dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt. Die Vermieter helfen aber mit Ventilatoren weiter. Optimal für Aufenthalte außerhalb von Hitzewellen.

Je suis malheureusement tombée lors de la semaine des fortes chaleurs. Il faudrait peut-être envisager de mettre un ventilateur plus puissant que celui qui y est actuellement. Difficile de faire courant d’air.

The location - near Place de Quinconces where the small street Cours de Tournon ends and very close to Place de Tourny - is unbeatable because that is where all the tram lines in Bordeaux meet and from where you can easily travel everywhere: airport, train station or other places in the city. As for breakfast, if you're not satisfied with the coffee you can prepare in the studio, you can immediately go to Pl. Tourny where there is a blessed café PAUL, opposite it another one, etc. Bordeaux is a wonderful city that can be explored on foot for the most part.

The communication with Laëtitia, the representative of the company that manages the apartment, was, unfortunately, very bad. The information presented in a kind of hastily put together presentation of the apartment and the city of Bordeaux from a folder provided in the studio was contradictory (for example, the password for the Wi-Fi differed from the presentation in French to the one in English!) I had to call Laëtitia, she gave me other instructions, then admitted that she didn't know the password, then, finally, she sent me a picture on WhatsApp to help me identify - among 1001 technical details - the place where the password could possibly be found). Throughout this communication - which took place exclusively in writing and which I have kept - I maintained a polite tone. All the greater was the surprise of Laëtitia's remark "Please remain courteous and respectful" (?????!!!) Finally, we called the same Laëtitia the day before the end of our stay to ask where we could keep our luggage for 4 hours after check-out time. She gave us the name of a luggage storage office on a nearby street (very good!) but when we asked on that street itself, the office was non-existent (very, very bad!) Our luck was meeting the lady who was in charge of cleaning the room, who kindly and efficiently gave us valuable directions.
