Good breakfast and bar selection. Interesting, historic property, modernised sympathetically.

The property was a perfect little English inn for a quick night during our trip from the US. Rooms and grounds were clean, staff helpful, and room well-suited.

Loved the courtyard especially at night. Didn't like the bar closed even though there were residents still wanting a drink! Also the cooked breakfast wasn't great.
