Overall we had a great stay at the Estalagem do Mar. The staff was very friendly and helpful with last minute accommodations and present to help with any other needs. It was a 3 minute walk away from a little downtown area with restaurants, a convenience store, gift shop, and little stands that are open on the weekends. Would stay here again if we visit Madeira island again! Free parking on the facility was also a huge plus for us!

An amazing stay! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were excellent, well maintained and perfect for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The staff were wonderful — very friendly, welcoming and helpful at all times.
The location is without a doubt one of the hotel’s greatest highlights. The surroundings in São Vicente are absolutely stunning and the views are hard to beat.
A special mention has to go to the breakfast: delicious, varied and enjoyed with some of the best views we had anywhere in Madeira.
This is one of those hotels that makes your whole trip even more special. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! ❤️
