The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and very well designed, and the staff were amazing – genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful. We really loved the overall look and feel of the place.
Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite match the “oasis of peace and serenity” the hotel promotes. Our room faced the road and the nearby industrial/construction area, and it was quite noisy, so it definitely wasn’t peaceful or quiet.
The bigger issue, however, was the air in the room. With the window closed, the room became extremely stuffy during the night and it felt almost impossible to breathe comfortably. I woke up with a strong headache and we really felt that the room needed much better ventilation. Opening the window helped with the air, but then of course the outside noise became an issue.
