The hotel is a stately home. More like a Manor that is just outside Penpont; Thornhill is just a 5 min drive.
It’s located in a gorgeous area surrounded by lovely old oak trees and the Scaur River. Excellent for a good walk.

My second stay at Elizabeth Anne's lovely guest house this year. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are lovely and clean, and spacious, which is good as I took two dogs! Breakfast was incredibly tasty, and served at reasonable times for those wanting a relaxing start to the day. There is a TV room, and a larger lounge area for folk to chill out after a day exploring the area. Really couldn't recommend this place enough...
