What a charming little stay we had!
Everything was very clean and easy to navigate. The beds were from heaven!!! Parking was easy and free. Super easy walk to all the fun things going on downtown.
Future patrons, please note:
- Although this is listed as a bed and breakfast, breakfast is not included.
- No full body mirrors in the Julia Berwind room. We stayed for a wedding and wished we brought ours with us!

Loved our stay at The Charter Inn! Amazing location — pretty central to the busiest parts of Newport. We walked most of the time and left our car parked in the inn’s lot. The entire inn was spick and span, with charm in every corner of the building! We stayed in the Ida Lewis room, which was super spacious, had a beautiful bathroom, and was super comfy! Highly recommend The Charter Inn!
