The flat is located on the first floor in a medieval building at the heart of Pisa. In the neighbourhood there are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes, visited mostly by local residents, not tourists near the beautiful Ponte di Mezzo. Campo dei Miracoli with the leaning tower, cathedral, baptistery, Camposanto etc. is within walking distance (800 m) as well. The flat is very spacious and well decorated, it has three bedrooms that can easily accommodate 5 people, a nice living and dining room with a big round table, smart TV and a sofa bed, a well equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet with a sink. All of them are very clean. Most living and sleeping areas are air conditioned and one can stay cool on hot summer days, The flat is rented by a company named Hostly that provides an entry sanitation kit with all necessary toiletries and kitchen stuff - extremely helpful for a start. The contact with the company via Booking app and WhatsApp is excellent as well.

Unfortunately the windows are not sound proof at all and during the night one can hear all kind of sounds: partying people, vespas, street cleaning machines etc. Waste disposal is somewhat complicated, there is a chip card programmed to open some waste containers that were hard to find. Probably the instructions need to be updated.

Great location, easy check-in process, property was clean and everything worked fine

The property location is amazing hence why we chose it. Only 10-15mins walk to train station. Close to landmarks and endless bars and restaurants surrounding. Primo next door is so cheap and plentiful- extremely popular and easy to see why. A walk away is the square with endless bars and restaurants- excellent value for money and a great atmosphere. The apartment is really lovely but we experienced a lot of issues sadly which unfortunately marred our stay. If these problems were rectified this would easily achieve 5stars.

We had major issues with power outage during our stay. In 12 hours the power had tripped 6times!!! We were extremely conscious of not using appliances unless necessary to prevent outage. The worst would be in the early hours it would trip and we would have no lights nor air con til you leave the property and go to communal hall to reset the switch. At 04:00-05:00 am this is unpleasant. This happened all 3 nights of our stay. From 05:00 the streets are busy with deliveries and street cleaning etc which is normal and the apartment leaves ear plugs to help ease the noise. Once woken from power outage it’s then difficult to get back to sleep. We also had issue with the shower we had to address. All problems were communicated with the hosts and they were extremely helpful and quick to reply but unfortunately the problems were still there during our stay.
