You'll find racquetball/squash on site at this smoke-free apartment. There's convenient onsite parking, so you can leave your vehicle behind and let your feet make short work of the 1-minute walk to Lake Carlsbad Recreation Area or the 15-minute walk to Carlsbad Water Park.

After you return, you can unwind on the balcony or sip a drink by the firepit. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

As you settle into this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room, a BBQ grill, a fireplace, and air conditioning. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a dishwasher, as well as a coffee maker, an ice maker, and a microwave. And because there's a washer and dryer, you can go a bit lighter on your packing.
