Loved the hotel, great rooms with charm. Very clean and tidy. Staff welcoming, friendly, and very professional. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was spot on. Good location with great walks all around.

The hotel suited us for a reunion with friends and family. Location was good and parking was easy. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was table service and good choice nicely cooked
Tricky to find reception / somewhere to check in when we arrived. The reception is rarely manned but that would be ok but not obvious where to go from some of the entrances from the car park. We had dinner to meet friends here - the live music meant we had to raise our voices a little and listen very closely - tricky for the hard of hearing

Beautiful and historic building. Surrounding countryside is so pretty, short car ride to shops
The out buildings or separate annex was fearful and no bath. Dark and depressing. Male manager was abrupt and difficult. Very expensive for what it is
