Octant Praia Verde

The breakfast was a wide ranging selection which all were delicious. The restaurant itself was a beautiful setting. The pools were great but also you are a 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach with free sunbeds. The staff were incredible.

Without exception the staff were excellent always relaxed and happy to help The rooms were lovely and the cleaners We’re very good with details that made a difference The location in amongst the beautiful trees was exceptional 11/10 Excellent food

I think everything was done to try and make everyone comfortable As an English person I sometimes found the menu difficult to navigate although the waiters tried but that may have been just me

We had an amazing stay at Octant Praia Verde. The meals, location of the property, cleanliness, service and friendliness of the staff was all superb. A special thank you to Flavio, Susana and Sofia for their kindness and amazing hospitality at the bar and the breakfast area. We’ll be back for sure!

The beach was very nice even though a bit far. There was a hotel buggy available and the people operating it very helpful. The rest...quite standard...

I'll just enumerate the most annoying things. - We had check-out at 12 o’clock and at 11.30 they cut the access to our room. - We were charged 50EUR/DAY for our small dog. It is 3 times more expensive than any other similar hotel. They failed to inform me in advance for such an unusually high charge. They can as easily charge even more, as there is nothing a guest can do when already there. - They insisted to clean the room the second day we arrived. We didn’t need cleaning and they called and messaged like it was the end of the world. We basically arrived just a few hours prior. - The staff managed to bring the coffee orders only once or twice as they were asked. They kept bringing other things than ordered. They were annoyingly friendly (We don’t need to be asked if everything is fine every 5 minutes by any staff around us). - The staff touched my phone on the table to make room for the dishes. It is not normal to take someone's phone even for a second. You should ask me to remove my personal belongings. Another one felt the urge to 'boop' my daughter's nose. Also a major DON'T!, especially as she made it clear she doesn’t like it. - We went there with a toddler and we are glad the place is child friendly, but it felt like we were in the middle of a nursery. People with no kid should stay away, as it is too much even for those with kids.
