The room itself was great! Super clean, nicely finished and very comfortable, with lots of thoughtful little extras like water and snacks. The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful, even offering to bring us a drying rack when we needed one. You could tell they really cared about making sure we had everything we needed. It was perfect for our one-night stopover in Zadar.
The building and surrounding area are a little deceiving at first. The neighbourhood seems to be going through some redevelopment, and coming from Canada, our first impression was definitely a bit of “where the heck are we staying?!” 😂 We arrived during the day, which helped, and I think arriving for the first time at night might have felt a little intimidating. That said, we never felt unsafe, and once we got inside, the room was a completely different story.

There was bottled water, snacks, coffee machine and toiletries in the room.
Lots of stairs and outside was grubby
