An ideal base for a family holiday located within a 10-minute drive from Alton Towers.. Ground Floor:

Galleried area: Single (3ft) Bed, (Accessed Via Bedroom 3)
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Shower, Toilet
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Bunk (3ft) Beds
Bedroom 3: Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair. Welcome pack.. Private patio area with decking and furniture. Shared grounds. Barbecue. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. NB: There are two unfenced water troughs in grounds.. Reached by a good farm road, this barn conversion is set in the valley of the River Hamps, amidst the Peak District National Park. It occupies a secluded position with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. There is excellent walking from the door with numerous local footpaths. Froghall Wharf, Foxfield Steam Railway and Alton Towers are within a 10 minute drive, with Gladstone Pottery Museum and Waterworld a little further afield. Sudbury (NT), Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are all within 17 miles. Harvey Gate Farm makes an ideal base for visiting all the attractions the Peak District has to offer. Shops 4 miles, pub 2 miles.

This is a beautiful barn, we had a lovely weekend here. Highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Barn. There were 8 of us in total sharing the three bedrooms and despite the bad weather we were warm and comfy in the well kitted out cottage for our two night stay. The Barn is on a farm which itself is isolated, but we enjoyed the quiet countryside (and the boys loved the sheep!) and just used our cars to easily get around into nearby Leek and for our visit to the Peak wildlife park. Would recommend for a visit.

Perfect property for a large group holiday. The barn was in a beautiful location, with countryside walks on the doorstep and a lovely pub not too far away. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
