This sweet and spacious Victorian suite is located in the heart of downtown Salida. The ceiling high windows overlook Riverside Park and the mountains. The Historic Palace is just steps away from amazing restaurants, shops, hiking, and world class fishing. The charming accommodations have everything you need for your perfect getaway! Previous guests describe it as "the icing on the cake", "fantastic as always", and "a light filled unit with beautiful art and furniture!"

-2 well behaved doggies are welcome

-Please note- there is not an elevator in this building.
All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchenette, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent and toiletries.
Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 pm.
All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. Five to 7 days before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.
**This suite is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.
Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

Love working with Pinon and would have gone through them directly had we realized this was one of their properties!The location is EXCELLENT... walking distance to the bets Salida has to offer.The bed was SUPER comfy and the small kitchenette was great for quick reheats, coffee and tea (we were on vacation so NO COOKING!).The place is immaculately clean and even though we know others were staying at the Palace, we didn't hear noise from "neighbors."

After staying next door in apt 201 on a previous trip, apt 202 provided a larger and more comfortable setting. Great location for the small town Salida vibe. Convenient options for walking to food and with our dogs. The room had everything we needed, we lived the 1920s/feather motif. The room was dusty throughout on items, horizontal surfaces to include tables and window sills.

it was a great location and spacious but:they brag about triple pane windows, and we could clearly hear a local band playing down the street until after 11pm.some of the worst pillows i have ever had in a rental.tv was a mile away from the bed and tinyfurniture was so old. it wasn't classy, it was just old.overall the vibe was that the owners didn't care, and certainly the management company is just using it as a cash grab until it sells (they advertised the unit for sale EVERYWHERE, including IN THE WINDOW.) it was not rented with any sort of pride at all.
