The Space:
Look no further, this recently updated condo right in the heart of Bend is what you've been searching for! Unit 164/165, "Spruce Springsteen", sits on the top floor, giving you the best views of the park right across the way, as well as ensuring you will never hear footsteps walking around above you! The owners of this condo recently spent some time updating it with many beautiful and custom modern furnishings and decor that will have you feeling right at home! Inside, you'll be greeted with hardwood flooring and an array of comfortable furniture for relaxing. In the living room, you will find a brand new couch which turns into a sleeper sofa, a beautiful dinette table with seating for four, and a flat screen TV to curl up and watch your favorite movies on after a day of exploring all of the amazing things Bend has to offer! This condo comes with it's own private high speed wifi so you don't have to worry about dodgy signals or streaming services cutting out! Not a movie person? This condo has a beautiful gas fireplace in the living room for cuddling up with a cozy blanket and watching the fire!
The kitchen in this condo is equipped with a full sized, stainless steel fridge and freezer combo to store plenty of fresh groceries, a microwave, dishwasher, apartment sized range oven with glass cooktop and of course the most important part, a coffee maker! Feel free to bring your own coffee but if you forget, we provide a starter pack of coffee packets and sugars. Slide open the barn door and you will find the private bedroom with a brand new custom built king sized bed to make sure you will get a great night's sleep! The condo was beautifully and generously appointed -- really had everything needed for a great stay. I enjoyed being there so much I requested and got an extra night.I was surprised the view was a very large parking lot and buildings that blocked the river, as I'd thought I could see some of the Deschutes. And nothing to do with the hosts but I didn't get the door code in advance and it took me some time to track it down. It didn't work the 3 first codes I tried it, then the maintenance guy came and realized the last guests had bolted the security lock (there are 2 doors). Took me an hour to get into the condo. And then no one had told me they were doing VERY noisy maintenance on the building, including painting the outside doors and windows. Again, nothing to do with the condo or hosts. Would have been nice to get advance notice. And perhaps they had no idea.But the condo is GREAT!
