Hotel Matsunoi Shurin

I had a great experience here. The hotel has free laundry, free breakfast and light dinner and friendly staff. It was a lovey stay.

From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. They helped me with my luggage when I arrived, and even after check-out they continued taking care of me. I checked out at 11:00 a.m., but my flight was much later, so they stored all my luggage until around 5:00 p.m. They even kept a sandwich I had left behind for me and gave it back when I returned. They told me I was welcome to stay at the hotel until my taxi arrived, and then helped me again with all my bags when I left. The service was exceptional, but the hotel itself was also fantastic. The room was spotless, the location in Shinjuku was extremely convenient, with the subway very close by and plenty of restaurants, shops, and everything you could need in the area! They also provide complimentary food and drinks, which was another great touch.What impressed me even more was the value. I honestly did not expect this level of service, comfort, and hospitality in such a good location in Tokyo. Every single person I interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I rarely write reviews this enthusiastic, but they absolutely deserve it. Without a doubt, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and I would stay here again without hesitation!

Even though the rooms were tiny, they were very well organized with a lot of detail and consideration for the guest. Most of the front office staff were very nice and accommodating. The location made it easy to get around and navigate such a big city. There were lots of amenities, including snacks and drinks, which made it very convenient and saved us money!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine kindness and professionalism. The entire staff was wonderful, but we would especially like to thank Manager Moon, who took such great care of us and made sure we were having a fantastic stay every single day. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of the hotel is the open kitchen, which offers something throughout the day. There is a delicious breakfast buffet, a snack bar with alcoholic drinks, ice cream, cakes, coffee, tea, and other beverages. In the evening, you can also enjoy freshly prepared soba. The free laundry facilities were another great convenience. We truly felt well taken care of during our entire stay. It was a wonderful experience, and we would absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Tokyo. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo. A huge thank you once again to Manager Moon and the entire team for making our stay so special!
