Luxury Penthouse Unit+ Rooftop+ Private Parking+3BD

This penthouse was the perfect fit for our family of six. Since the temperatures were extremely high that weekend I give a “10” for the excellent A/C relief in the condo. The absolute highlight was the rooftop. Being able to watch the Fourth of July fireworks from there was an unforgettable experience. We had amazing views of the fireworks over the U.S. Capitol and Navy Yard, as well as displays from surrounding communities. The condo was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. If I could suggest a few things, it would be to provide extra bath towels and washcloths plus facial tissues (Kleenex) in the bathrooms.One note for future guests: because this is a penthouse, there is a flight of stairs to access it. Anyone with mobility concerns should keep that in mind, as the stairs could be challenging.Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Washington, D.C., especially if you’re visiting for the Fourth of July!

I enjoyed our stay. The teenagers really enjoyed the Penthouse with access to the rooftop. I think that was the highlight of the trip! While there are a lot of steps to take, the stay was comfortable. The temperature in the lower level bedroom was a little but not too unbearable.

This vrbo was immaculate. It was very modern and spacious. There was a parking space provided as well, which was great. The host was responsive to questions, and easy to communicate with. The only downside was that it wasn’t in the best area of town. I didn’t feel safe having my family walk around the neighborhood.

This clean modern updated unit is located in a building that has seven flights of stairs to penthouse one. We were four active, senior citizen ladies. The difficulty in carrying our luggage upstairs was only relieved by a good Samaritan temporarily staying in the building. We had a full week of activities planned, and going up and down the stairs was quite the challenge. The small green space could use some attention as it was quite trashy as we walked to the retail & restaurants. The owner was non-responsive to our request for top sheets and towels. One of the small bedrooms had a door leading to the rooftop patio. We were not able to enjoy that space as it had not been cleaned and was not inviting for use. Additionally, the exterior door that led to the outside patio did not have a lock on it. We used our luggage & the cable from my iPad to secure the doors, but we did not feel completely safe. We do believe that someone accessed our unit while we were away, but nothing was taken. The supposedly ‘fully stocked’ kitchen had very limited glassware or silverware, & what was available looked like it was purchased from a dollar store. Considering the cost, we certainly expected better accommodations, quality, use of the rooftop patio and a promise of security. It was disappointing to not receive a response to our request, but quite a surprise to have the cleaning lady waiting as we exited the unit. Surely she could have brought sheets and towels.Now I will be suspect of reviews
