Zhangjiajie national park Oxygen Resort

The staff and facilities were exceptional- my partner is vegan and they went above and beyond to make sure all her dietary requirements were met. Grace handled everything for us and the whole vibe of the hotel was so peaceful.

Aircon in the bedroom could’ve been better but everything else was so good

Our stay was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip to China. Zhangjiajie itself is breathtaking, but this hotel and its incredible staff somehow elevated the experience even further. The property is gorgeous, peaceful, exceptionally clean and comfortable, with beautiful views and a fantastic location right by Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The South Gate is even close enough to walk to. The restaurant was delicious, and when we returned late from the park our first night, they still welcomed us in and made sure we had dinner. What made our stay truly unforgettable, though, was Grace. She went above and beyond from weeks before we even arrived, helping plan and continually adjust our itinerary so we could experience as much as possible during our short stay. She even checked live camera feeds around the park to see where visibility was best that day, steering us toward the best views and away from areas affected by the weather. Grace arranged our park tickets, walked us through exactly where to go and what to do, organized transportation, made sure we were picked up from the train station, and kept us stocked with snacks for our adventures. I genuinely cannot express how helpful, thoughtful and kind she was. We experienced so much more of Zhangjiajie because of her. The entire staff was incredibly warm and accommodating. By the end of our short stay, it genuinely felt like we had been welcomed into a family. An absolute 10/10, and when I return to Zhangjiajie, I won’t even have to think about where to stay. I cannot recommend this hotel—and especially Grace—enough.

A fantastic place and we were looked after brilliantly by the staff - in the hotel and the restaurant - including drop-offs and pick-ups from the Forest Park entrance (about 10 mins by car). Lovely food - and a massive selection for breakfast. Great pool.
