Perched at 8,900 feet in Colorado's San Juan Mountains, Purgatory Resort sits 25 miles north of downtown Durango amid over a million acres of national forest. Winters bring 1,600+ acres of skiable terrain and an average of 260 inches of snow; summers bring hiking, mountain biking, and the Purgatory Inferno Mountain Coaster just steps from the door.
Other Things to Note:
A mandatory 4% Purgatory Resort fee is included in the quote. An optional additional 4% provides access to the Durango Mountain Club, including the heated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and fitness facility.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE: For direct reservations processed by Modern VRM, $300 is due at booking and is applied to the reservation total; 50% of the reservation total is due 60 days before check-in; and the remaining balance is due 30 days before check-in. For reservations collected by an OTA, the payment schedule shown by that channel at checkout controls.
CANCELLATIONS: The cancellation policy displayed by your booking channel at checkout and in your reservation confirmation applies. Please review those terms before booking.

The condo was perfect for my family’s vacation! The location was great, the condo provided all space for us to come together as a family and not feel crowded at anytime. We had amble room where of my adult children and their families could have their own floor with accommodations and I still had my own room as well. The kitchen was full of everything we needed to cook (with our own groceries) and were able to keep up with laundry all week thanks to having a washer and dryer available in the unit. I can’t say enough good things about Elkpoint, the staff was always available and courteous and the condo was very clean and modern.

We shared the condo with 3 other couples. The bedroom and bathroom layout worked out great. Everything was clean and well appointed. Host was extremely fast to answer any questions. Just a short walk away from the base lifts and Purgatory village.
