The view from the property was amazing and the location was good too. All of the staff was friendly. The communication with the hotel staff before we arrived was great and the offered transportation to us that would include transportation to the hotel and help with our luggage to our room. We had already booked a taxi and let them know. Then our ferry was late due to weather issues and our taxis driver did stay to pick us up. We called the hotel and they came to get us after being left at the port by the taxi, so thank you for helping us.

The rooms were clean, however the bathroom had a permeating smell that filled the room all day and night. It looked like it came from some mold that was painted over in the shower area. Additionally, the towels (even though you could tell they were washed) looked dingy and not well washed. The blanket on the bedding also did not look well cleaned and the bed that I slept in had some sort of orange substance on the wall that was also on the top blanket near the wall. Which was even more confusing since there were cleaning ladies in our room before we left and the day that we went out. Lastly, we were stranded at the port due to a late ferry and a cab company that wouldn’t help reconcile with us, the hotel came and got us. The fee was supposed to cover our bags to our room, however when we arrived at the drop off area, the kind lady walked us to the hotel while we carried our own luggage with no help down steep flights of multiple stairs cases (that was not noted in the description for the hotel). We mentioned the morning of check out that we needed help with our bags back up the stairs there was a little resistance and a “you didn’t order a transfer to leave” that delayed us for over an hour. Ultimately in the end they did help bring the bags up.

The room we booked was different to the one we received but we accepted it as ut was still a lovely room. Coffee & milk satchets would have been appreciated in the room for early mornings before breakfast hours.

All rooms have caldera view. Lovely family-run inn. Quiet location away from Fira & Oia madness.

We booked for 6 but room only accommodated for 5 .. the host did their best to make it work but the room was small for 6.
