The World's End

Lovely food, both evening meal and breakfast, staff very friendly and welcoming, room comfortable. Shower clean and hot.

Room looked over bins, so occasionally very noisy when emptying bottles but was not done at unsociable times.

One breakfast order per person makes sense but as prices for outside customers are listed and not all equal cost, its a little annoying that we paid extra for additional drinks. A juice included as well as a hot drink would be more in line with a B&B or small hotel

I booked this for my parents and their little dog for a stopover on their way to Lincoln. It was absolutely perfect for their needs. Lovely location, good car park, places to walk the dog, warm friendly helpful staff throughout, great atmosphere in the pub, delicious dinner and breakfast, and the owner (Shane we think) couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Just a note to anyone with dogs - Booking.com doesn't make it clear that only two rooms allow dogs, so check the pub website first or give them a call to make sure the available rooms on Booking.com are actually the dog friendly rooms. My parents had had a fairly difficult few days, and The World's End was a godsend for them - so comfortable and just what they needed. They would definitely return if up in that area again.
