LadyLuna Dimora di Charme

We had an amazing stay in Matera, even though it was only for one night. The host was truly exceptional. He went above and beyond by meeting us personally at the parking lot and helping us get settled, which made arriving with luggage so much easier. The location is fantastic, especially because there is paid parking nearby. This was a huge plus since you don’t have to climb all the hills of Matera carrying your luggage. The property itself is beautiful. Everything feels brand new and thoughtfully maintained, while still preserving the authentic character and charm of an original Matera home from the 1950s. It gives you the perfect combination of modern comfort and historic atmosphere. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back to Matera and stay here again. Highly recommended!

Well renovated, cosy and breathtaking view of the just behind of the property.

Nothing but it was perfect if blanket can be used instead of sheets only.

Fantastic property within a former cave property. Location is exceptional. Short walk from free parking and few stairs. View outside the front door of the Sassi is amazing and not crawling with tourists. Very peaceful location.

Everything was perfect.

I can't say enough about this suite. It's beyond spectacular, amazing, incredible. There's truly not enough words I can say to express the WOW factor. It's beautiful in the pictures I saw here, but when I saw it in reality it exceeded my expectations. I can say it's the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at. The interiors are beyond beautiful, so well designed with all the intricate details, the cave with a modern touch where it needs it, everything having been placed to give you the dramatic feel of Matera as if telling the story of this Magical city. It was unbelievable. We were very sad to leave and wished we were staying longer. It complements the feeling of staying in Matera, it complements the vibe of staying in such a magical city. The location was spot on, very easy to reach by foot because you walk the main road behind it then there's only a few steps that lead you down to the magical part. So its not hard to get to with luggage. Also the moment you step out the door and walk down a few steps - you find yourself at the breathtaking Matera view of the city. And Emanuele is the most wonderful host, he went above and beyond to help us with the little details. Finding a parking for us, giving us all the information we needed about the city, as well as recommendations on beautiful places to try. He tried to help us in everything we asked. I can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

Absolutely nothing. It was PERFECT!
