Trailhead Lodge

Lovely property, great location, nice aesthetic

I picked this lodge because it was close to the Green Lake Trailhead and I finally landed permits I could use (i.e. the weather and air quality/fire situation worked out). It also had on-site food - in addition to having a fridge/microwave (I brought my own breakfast and lunch). I was aware that it had recently been bought by Bachelor (in some capacity) and was undergoing upgrades. The bed, which I assume was new, was one of the best I've slept on this year (I am a picky sleeper). The cafe-area and food/service was very good. The hot tub was very good and the pool was small but worked for stretching out after hiking. The staff was exceptionally friendly and did their jobs well.

More outlets in the rooms in more useable locations, and a couple outlets were old (large computer plugs fell out).

Breakfast not Included, but they have excellent coffee, lattes, pastries & the snicker doodle cookies are awesome!

Nothing

Been driving cross country and the last few weeks and this was our favorite hotel by far. Nothing bad to say. The rooms were clean, modern, soaps were great, kids loved the bunk bed and room dividing curtain. Shower was hot, water pressure great. Kids loved swimming in the pool even though it was 50 degrees outside it was still warm enough, and the hot tub was huge. Service was great, staff was friendly and Nick went out of his way to make my husband and I delicious hot chocolates, served them in front of the outdoors fire and even brought a blanket to make sure we weren’t too chilly. All the pastries and coffee we tried at the cafe were amazing. I’d honestly give the trailhead lodge more stars if I could.
