The Hidden Ridge Resort

The area was out of the chaos of town centre and the rooms have fire places and are warm. Staff are friendly and they offer complimentary bus passes into town.

You could hear the trains during night. Rooms are needing upgrades along with kitchen appliances as some don’t work properly.

The staff are very friendly. The outside of building and campus was lovely.

The room was very dimly lit and the decor was very out of date...like 40 years old. This was really disappointing for $650 each night. The lay out of the apartment was very poorly designed. Lots of noise audible from apartment above. Could smell their fire smoke too. The bedroom was very dusty...causing me to have tightening in my throat...dust allergy. No restaurant on site. The thermal pool had a great view but many tiles missing. The sauna was not operational...looked like it had been out of action for a while. When checking out I was asked for feedback. When I said the lighting was too dim and decor was dated they became defensive...I reminded them they asked for feedback.

Loved the accommodation, setting, facilities. Well thought out and very confortable

Location, space, view, heating

The facilities are very 60’s, the nightly fee is high so would be good to see some money invested back into the resort. The room was not ready before 4- fair. But we were told someone would call when it was ready. We had to inquire after 4. The first room allocated was full of poo (not ours), we were changed and then that toilet kept breaking. First time maintenance fixed it, then my husband did it the subsequent times.
