Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The bed was excellent, and the new shower is very roomy. This motel is in the centre of town, and a short walk to the river. Everything was as expected for a comfortable stay, with easy check-in and out. Despite proximity to the border crossing, it is set far back enough for a quiet stay.

I liked that we had a cabin. Traveling with our dog, it was nice that you couldn't hear your neighbor, being wall to wall.
I liked that there was a pool.
The pool was posted to be open until 11pm but when we went to go for a swim just after 9pm it was already locked. They claimed that they were doing some maintenance.
There was also a leak from our toilet, it was running steady and left a puddle on the floor, leaving the tile floor slippery.

Well located for our purposes
It needs a major upgrade. No working tv, no hair drier, cracked sink. Our no smoking room had been smoked in but receptionist gladly got us another room. She also attempted to fix the very old tv we had but was unable to. We cut our visit by 2 of our 3 days booked.
