Very quiet. Bed was a single, but comfortable.

Rooms were very plain, as expected. Aesthetics of lobby was a bit disappointing.

Property was immaculately clean.

The checkin procedure was a total disaster. Their computers were down. The student clerks had to make many adjustments but had no authority to make decisions under the circumstances and were constantly calling supervisors who were not always available. We had great difficulty processing payments. Then we were sent to a room that was already occupied and had to return to the reception and start over. The students were helpful and extremely apologetic. But the process by administration needs some serious attention. Also, it is good to be aware that the suites have single beds since it is a dorm so doubles, queens and kings are not available. Also the possibility of offsite parking could be an issue. It was not for us.

I liked everything about the stay. The location, the room with a fabulous view of downtown Halifax.

The all gender component to the shared bathrooms. Although I never saw anybody else use the bathroom I was nervous I would run into a man in the bathroom at night.

Location is perfect near to everything in downtown. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the towels provided were new. The washroom is outside but clean and the shower is great. I recommend to anyone how needs a great bed, shower and perfect location for a fair price.

There was an issue with the reservation on Booking and Dalhousie their system don't communicate so Dalhousie doesn't know I was coming, but they were able to solve the situation quickly and find me a room. The other guests were noise and toke me a while to sleep, but i bought an ear plug on the second day and didn't hear them anymore.

Excellent staff (thx Dug?..I'm sorry, i can't recall your name) Very clean, simple facilities in a fantastic location.

location is convenient, rooms, at least my wing, are spartan to say the least.

The room was clean. The staff were friendly. Great location.

Checking in wasn't the greatest. The address given wasn't where I had to check in. I had to walk with my luggage to Howe Hall. Then, it was like a maze trying to find my room. I wished they had posted signs around so that it would be easier to figure out. I wasn't the only one who found it confusing. Washrooms were co-ed, so some might not appreciate that. Windows didn't open much, so airflow was limited. Felt hot at night even with windows open.

Nice staff. Very helpful. Nice place to stay. Rapid internet connection. Clean bathrooms
