Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre

Good accommodation within a 20 minute walk of the main areas of Kingston. Hotel was full so there was a lot of people around. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice although again it was a bit noisy due to being at full capacity. Good value though

The bathroom could have been cleaner as there were so hairs left on the floor and around the door frame. Overall it was ok but the hotel is looking a bit dated in places

Excellent hotel. Room was clean, large, well equipped and the shower had plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly and wll trained. The highlight of course was the extension buffet breakfast. Best we had in Canada on our 3 week trip.

A bit too far to walk to downtown. We did walk one day as it was a lovely weather and you can get down to the lake front easily. Taxi/Ubers are available however.

Walking distance to several attractions. Beautiful building and facilities. Parking on site. University affiliated but open to public.

All was great.

Pleasant stay and overall value for money. The university district is good but a car is necessary for almost everything. almost everything was between fair and good. No major issues.

This hotel is geared around conference and corporate guests and on a couple of occasions we did feel that we were an 'extra'. Very unpleasant lady who 'told me in no uncertain terms to get out when I wandered into the bar area which (no signs ) was apparently reserved for conference participants. Also we noted that breakfast fruit and pastries were better for the conference than for ourselves. Hopefully you like melon. Nevertheless, breakfast overall was quite good for the buffet type experience. A small amount of mould around the shower area in our room.
